Something

I enjoy wasting my time indulging in pointless, meaningless pastimes. Isn't that a big paradox? I spent the days in school this year counting down to this holiday, thinking it would give me time~ time to reflect, time to rest, time to change. Half the holiday has passed, and I feel like I've accomplished none of all that. I live in fear~ fear that I will run out of time. I spend all my time thinking about the many -productive- things I could do with it~ but by doing so.. I've lost so much more of it than I should have. I indulge in my thoughts, the thoughts of me being a greater person. I think of how much I would enjoy myself with the amount of time I have~ then I realise there really isn't much more of it left. School begins soon, in 28 days. The last (or second last) chapter in my book. The greatest challenge lies ahead of me. Its closer to me than I could ever imagine.

Sadly, i may not be painting until my 2015 exams are over.. BUT I'll still be building and improving my sanding and out of box skills~

As I was picking and orange from the fridge,  I came across a badly bruised and blackened one. I peeled it and tasted it, and was surprised to find that it was sweet.

Far sweeter than any new bright orange.

Either that's how people are too or science has gone too far. Or maybe it's just me..

Hello again! Oh.. theres no one here

Oh wells.

I completed the arms and the skirt,  which i felt was quite alot. BUT hey look,  thats only a third of the manual down. I've been procrastinating buying myself some sandpaper and a mask for a long while.. Mostly because of the awesome games that are/have lately been released. My wallet took a beating.. And this friday, pokemon OR and AS are being released, along with news on the PG Unicorn. Thats awesome!

So until i get my mask, and sand paper, so long.

MG Zeta 2.0 WIP 1

I was working on this for 2 days, and i can tell you, this kit requires a lot of skill. Every part of this kit requires PERFECT sanding of nubs, as any imperfections will hinder the motion of the countless moving parts.

My fingers hurt from the relentless sanding ):

My backlog is piling up, and I havent been painting lately. I got lazy with the decals of the Unicorn, even though i (halfway) finished painting it.  With project work in full swing, my freedom is still a distant light at the end of the tunnel

There is still a Psyco Gundam waiting for me in the back ground.. And I'm becoming the psycho that I mentioned in March...

I'm considering selling the Sazabi, Zaku and Sinanju, but it pains me deeply to part with the things that stayed with me all this while..

(Update 28 Oct 14: I'm busy with project work this month, but i'll be done in exactly 7 days..Until then, i'm probably not going to have any time for gunpla at all ): )

MG Sazabi! 85 bucks

MG Zeta 2.0, 50 Bucks

The box of the Zeta was pretty old so i threw it out... 

I've managed to meet my budget of 200!!! I think 135 is a pretty reasonable price for these two, especially since the regular retail price of the Sazabi is over 9000!!! Nah jk 9000 yen ☺

But even so, shipping would have doubled, if not tripled, the price of it. Im glad i got it at a good price! 

So that concludes this post.

I was thinking of changing the Hyaku Shiki's piping.For me (i don't kniw if its supposed to be like that) at least, my Hyaku Shiki's has a very weak connection especially around the shoulder blades.

And now i present the perfect solution!

HGUC Dom Tropen Diorama WIP

Hi guys! (By guys i mean myself)

It's been a while and i've been busy fighting a virus that seems to have affected a good 99% of my classmates and I. So i guess it wasn't becausw of my sanding habits.. :D but im gonna use a mask from now om just to be safe.

Anyways I've scraped out some of my time to build the Dom Tropen~ for which i plan to do a diorama with.

I really fell in love with its design (although i believe i wasn't a big fan of it in the past (In Seed)

My idea for the diorama is pretty simple~ Just a desert and a dom stirring up dust!

I'm seriously ill today. I have a terrible flu and i suspect its because i was breathing in too much styrene dust from sanding..

Maybe its a sign to move on?

HG Gundam Age: Genoace Atlas Custom

I came across a really cool design by sledgehammer game's new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare~

So i thought i could do a paintjob like that on my Genoace☆

Using some spare time i had (It's Friday)  i drew the genoace and colored in my design

Its gonna be awesome :D

And i bought some manipulators from HAW~ for 12sgd

It's probably the MOST detailed thing I've seen in my entire life!

More Gundam to fill the backlogs

I haven't had no time to do much of anything outside of homework and study~ but I guess i have time to fill my backlogs

I've spent almost 38 dollars on Carousell so far, and I'm quite pleased to say that I've got 5 kits, albeit all in 1/144 scale, i guess you could say it was pretty worth it.

1) Kestrel NG 12Sgd

2) 3 Second Hand HG Seed kits (M1 Astray, Justice and Forbidden) 10 Sgd (For all)

The Astray was disassembled for sanding~

3) Dom Tropen (16 Sgd)

I plan to do a Domorama (Episode 4 Ver.) ^^

I've been stuggling to cope with life in JC so far. As you probably know, I've taken out all the time from my social life ~ for *me time* . That time includes

Wondering when this'll end~

I don't know why I made some of the choices I've made, which led me here. I want time, I really do.

1/144 Gundam Kestrel ♢From Dengeki Hobby♢

This is a neat piece! I got it off a seller on carousell for 12 bucks.

Although I saw it on sale for 10 at HAW, I didn't seize the opportunity to grab it, and someone bought it~ right before me. Oh well, 2 dollars may mean alot to me, but I'll take it as a reward for myself. Its been a harsh few weeks~ Project Work is catching up with me, Track and Field is leaving me behind to catch up with others, and worst of all, my grades have been stagnant...

This kit, although lacking in articulation, is packed with details from top to toe. I plan to modify the joints,at the arms and MAYBE the legs. 

I know masking is gonna be a big challenge for this kit, because of its scale. But that's not gonna stop me from doing it

HG Gundam Age: Genoace Custom ~ Custom

Hello guys! Or guy, or nobody... Meh my blog views have been dwindling since I stopped painting ):

But Im far too busy with school~ more project work, more track and field, and more homework than ever before...

As I mentioned before,I got this kit for 5 bucks!

I have so many great ideas on what I'm gonna paint it~ but im not sure if it'll work... Thats mainly because I really wanna test the Sinanju Red on him but I think the Genoace will look terrible in red... But I'm gonna go with it anyways! 

As for the review of this kit, I'd have to say a good 7/10~ Although it's abit small, it more than compensates for it in design. The fact that the designers of this went to the trouble of making it as 'kid-friendly' as possible, while still retaining (and in some cases improving) the HG name. It has many more panel lines than I initially expected~ accompanied by the added wrist joints and ankle flexibilty, it's truly a bang for your buck. However, it has a large and very disproportionate head, which really bugs me... That's my only complaint~
