Zaku II High Mobility Type Titanium WIP 2

Its been a long "break", and mid year exams are over. I've decided to finish what I started (which is really alot)

I still have many others (Nu, Wing, Strike Freedom, Unicorn)
But I'll prepare the parts for this Zaku first. I'll buy an airbrush (I have no clue how to fit it in the house though) the moment my holiday begins. And embark on a METALLIC Zaku.
Before that, I'll finish my RG SF.

AND THEN, I'll be starting a diorama.

RG Zaku II  Mg Rx79g diorama!

I just found out that art friend does sell Woodland Scenics, and pretty much everything to start a dio. ( Ideas?)

Well off to sanding, see ya.

Zaku II High Mobility Type Titanium (Blue) WIP 1

Well, its the march "break" now, so I have a bit of time to 'rest' . I wanted to test my titanium finish just now, so I used my Rust Oleum Silver Metallic under my Tamiya Clear Blue.

Before I show you the picture of the part tested, I would like to say, NEVER use rust oleum on delicate plastic models such as Gunpla. I speak with experience.

1) The pressure: This piece of shit packs a punch, a light tap will coat your part so thickly that it'll turn black. The only way to control it is to spray it 40-50 cm away from the part. I couldn't help but make an ass out of myself doing so.

2) Paint thickness: Even at 40 cm, Rust Oleum still manages to blotch at the slightest mistake. The only way to solve that? Buy another brand. Or use an airbrush, which I have no space for atm.

3) Paint Quality: Hands down the worst paint I've ever had to use. It doesn't dry completely, and leaves a sticky texture on the part like someone took a dump on it and it'll stain your hands no problem. The paint scratches of with close to no effort as well, adding to the list of disappointment.

4) Price: It costs thrice as much as Tamiya silver (Although its 2.5x the volume) I think Tamiya spray cans have a better pressure and leaves a smoother overall finish on parts.

With that said, time for the pros of this paint!
None.

I'm very disappointed with this paint, although I've heard many good reviews of this paint, it's just not up to my standards.

This WAS supposed to be titanium but thanks to the shitty troll weather, its flat. I guess I could glosscoat it later, and use my leftover waterslides from RG SF and it'll look pretty cool.
